As you know, you improve your working speed a lot by using keyboard shortcuts. Deside to just learn a few of the most important ones - or - if this works well for you, memorize most of them.
Maybe you didn't know that Animation Paper has 'hidden' keyboard features. Go ahead and take a closer look at the list below...

Drawing

Draw (latest drawing tool)

Draw Settings (To have the settings box come up, where you have your pointer, press and hold D as you adjust your settings, then let go of D again to close the box)

Shift D or Hold D

Erase (latest erasing tool)

Erase Settings (As with Draw Settings above, you can use press and hold E to get to the settings quickly)

Shift E or Hold E

Toggle between Draw and Erase

(Period) .

Kneaded Eraser

Rubber Eraser

Vinyl Eraser

Pencil

P or 4

Marker

M or 5

Brush

B or 6

Quick adjustment of size (drag left/right) and opacity (drag up/down)

Hold Option and drag

Decrease or increase pen-size in steps

Flipping - Step Back / Step Forward

Left / Right arrow keys

Back / Forward - skipping local clones

Up / Down arrow keys

Skip Back / Forward - to drawing marked with a Key

Shift Up / Down arrow keys

Return Flip (Flips backwards as Return/Enter key is held, then flips forward when released, to end at current frame. If key is held again while it flips forward, it goes past current frame and returns on release. Works well when repeated. Needs a little practice)

Hold Return

Scrub (from anywhere within the Drawing Area)

You have two options when leaving this mode: Either you lift up your pen and then release the Shift key - this returns you to the Current Drawing before you started scrubbing. Or, you first let go of Shift and then lift your pen - this allows you to stay on the drawing you scrubbed to.

Hold Shift and drag left/right or up/down

Jump to Start / Jump to End

Step Range-Start Back or Forward

Cmd Left arrow or Cmd Right arrow

Step Range-End Back or Forward

Expert Flipping (alternative to using arrow keys):

Flip between originals (Back / Forward - skipping local clones)

Q / W

Crawl on to clones (Step Back / Step Forward)

Option Q / Option W

Flip between Marked Key Drawings only

Caps Lock on (or hold Shift) while using Q and W

Light Table (View)

Backlight (Onion Skin) On/Off
