The black line that displays every 8 frames, is this adjustable? I’d rather it be 12 or 24 for personal use.

    Thanks!

Thanks Kasey. It is always every 8 frames in Animation Paper (it is not adjustable) – this is my decision because a certain famous hero animator of mine had a rant about this and said it had to be 8 (and not six as I remember Disney did it).

Of course it could be argued that it should be up to the user to set the interval. For good reason. However, I am kind of amazed that, as far as I remember, this really hasn’t been discussed or mentioned by anyone, until you just did it. 🙂 Maybe you were the first to pay attention to these lines. 😉 Anyway, I have made a note of this. We might add this as an option in Settings. Thanks for bringing it up!

    Best,
    Niels

I kinda had in the back of my head that it would be cool to be able to set this grid to mark every second or half second. Right now with the 8, when on a 12fps project, it’s hard to really get a sense of how long a second is on the X-sheet.
But also, it’s not critical, and playback will always give you the timing anyway, so I never thought to bring it up.
It is definitely something I’d like to have, on a per-project basis.
