For instance, I have Layer A that has 200 frames, and the second layer, Layer B has a 15-frame animation that starts at frame 20 and ends at frame 35. I like to make a cycle of the Layer B.

When I play ,the cycle inculiding frame 1 to 14 !..

What did I do wrong here?

    Thanks

If you are using the “beyond last drawing” features, they are only about what to show after the layer ends (after the last drawing). If you set it to cycle, it will cycle the whole layer, i.e. all drawings in that layer.

If you want to cycle a particular sequence of drawings, you can shift-select the sequence of thumbs in the X-Sheet and hit @ (“Cycle Selected Drawings Once”). You can press @ a few times, if you need it to cycle a few times.

What! I just wanted to check this for my self and found a bug! If you select the last drawing first and then shift-select the first drawing (you get the sequence selected as intended) – however the selection goes away after the cycle command (so you need to select it again if you want to repeat the cycle command). If you select it first-then-last you keep the selection and you can press @ as many times as you like. 😀 We will fix…
