Hi
I love the software simple interface, not many software provides a clean/simple interface for Windows users, always filled with toolbars and windows. Keep developing it.
Now to the main point, for users of the Surface pro which uses “Slim pen 2”
I used this work around to fix the issue of no pen pressure when using the software.
The idea is to disable Windows Ink, and the issue gets resolved immediately.
Somehow it interferes with the software. If this issue could be addressed on future builds would be great, it disables windows ink services, which is not convenient.
Steps: (found it on Microsoft Forums)
-Press Windows + R keys and type: gpedit.msc and press ENTER.
-Navigate to following path: Computer Configuration ->Administrative -Templates ->Windows Components ->Windows Ink Workspace.
-On the right pane, doublie-click on “Allow Windows Ink”.
-Under action settings, switch to Disabled.
-Press on Apply and then OK.Notes:
1- If you get the message “gpedit.msc is not available” Please google it, there is a simple way to enable it through CMD.
2- I can confirm pen pressure works on Clip studio paint after disabling Windows Ink (I tested it on this software because I used on daily basis) not sure if it effects any other software pen sensitivity .
