To help you right now, I guess it will work if you reset your pen settings. Press Shift Cmd D to Reset User Settings of your drawing tools.
December 21, 2024 at 3:04 pm #7432cevikParticipantSure, anytime.
I’ve just reset the pen settings but still same.
December 21, 2024 at 10:08 pm #7433NielsKeymasterOh wow. That’s interesting. And strange. I’ll have to ask Frederik about this (lead programmer).
December 22, 2024 at 12:45 pm #7435Bahadir TosunParticipantI’ve also checked and it’s max %75.
December 22, 2024 at 3:35 pm #7437NielsKeymasterOh! Is the problem that the max value is 75%? Because that is how it is made – deliberately. The pencil can not have a 100% opacity.
I thought Ridvan said it was somehow “locked” – I mean, I understood it as the slider was not able to move – couldn’t be dragged downwards.
Can you confirm Ridvan?
December 22, 2024 at 6:02 pm #7438cevikParticipantYes Niels, many years layer I just again started to test the program and not so used to yet.
Sorry for confusion. Situation happened while I am trying with the modifier keys and might be duplicated layer or something similar so at one point I saw dark pencil strokes with the lighter ones. Then I checked the opacity and saw that value and wanted to asked you because I first time saw maximum opacity value at 75. Quite surprised by the way.
Thank you for your help!
December 22, 2024 at 8:43 pm #7439NielsKeymasterIf I helped you – by accident – then you’re welcome 😀
I understand why you would be confused by the 75% at the maximum. I am not too happy about this myself. The reason was that you could compare it to the other pen tools and their opacity – however, it might be more confusing than helpful 😀
Anyway, thanks for testing! Keep it up – and please report anything else you might find weird.
Thanks,
Niels
