Adjusting all slides
Quote from napleslocococo on September 18, 2025, 7:54 pmHi! Really wierd though Im sure but in using animation paper for rotoscope practice, I've hit a point where I don't like how low the video is set and want to shift the image northern on all of the slides, but theres like.... 200 I've already done.
Are you planning or will there be a way to shift where the "scene" is viewing? It would be my usual trick to fix the issue ^^" thanks for the lovely program nonetheless

This is something we have planed to support with a couple of features. However, it is for future releases and not within this beta period.
We do however work, as we speak, on a Transform feature for reference layers - this will be finished in a few days and already part of the very next beta release (beta 3). This will enable you to position your rotoscoping source perfectly - but of course it unfortunately doesn't help you with the 200 drawings you already have done.
I know this is a lot of manual labor, but as I see it, right now, you have to move each drawing one by one. I would do it like this:
Press your pen down somewhere empty in your frame to set a little dot where it doesn't disturb/ruin anything. While holding your pen down, press and hold your down arrow key. This flips through all your drawings while putting the dot in all of them. This you will use as a mark.
Now, go through each of your drawings (you call them slides) by hitting A on your keyboard to pick up your drawing, then shift/move your drawing to the preferred position and hit Enter to stamp it down. If you have backlight on (onion skin) you can use your dot to place each drawing precisely for every frame. Maybe it is easier to use your mouse instead of your pen for this task. Do this A - move - Return for each of your 200 drawings and you're done. Phew! 🙂 I would like to think it is faster than you fear. 🙂
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
Niels
