model sheet
Quote from mo on July 30, 2025, 3:48 pmHello,
I was wondering if there is a way to import model sheet as an overlay that can be moved around or flipped to?
I managed to import a model sheet to another layer but it cannot be moved around at all.
cheers

When you import drawings, they come in as bitmap/raster files and is automatically put in a reference layer. Reference layers can be altered with regards to timing, but you can not edit the images themselves.
We are working on a feature to let you position (move/scale/rotate) the reference layer. So this is unfortunately not implemented in the current version, but it will come soon.
In the meantime, a workaround could be to trace your model sheet inside AP - I mean, import it as you did, but then draw it again in a regular layer on top. This new drawing can be manipulated all you want - by lassoing it and then moving/scaling/rotating it before stamping it down again in an empty frame/layer.
I hope this is somewhat useful 😉
Best,
Niels
