Smoothing stroke
Quote from FF on May 27, 2025, 4:46 pmHi , G
I have to say that animation paper is the cleanest and most efficient 2D animation program I have ever used. It has fulfilled almost all my needs in the design phase of 3D animation. Due to physical reasons, my hands shake slightly unconsciously, so I would use the brush smoothing function in krita or lazy nezumi to solve the problem of shaking hands, and I wonder if you can add a smoothing stroke function in your software.
thanks again for your great work !

We do actually have a subtle and clever stabilising algorithm running at all times for all strokes. It is not just simple smoothing, so it will not affect deliberate corners etc. This algorithm is running at all times for all strokes and is not adjustable. It works almost unnoticeable but quite effectively.
We do already have a more conventional smoothing feature on our todo-list though, so this is something we plan to add in a future version.
Thanks,
Niels
