Hi,
I have just intalled the Alpha version. I would love to try it,
Although the installation went smooth the app does not start up due to an unknown error.
I still work with MacOS 10.12.6 (Sierra). Should I upgrade?
I could not find the system requirements.

Yes, you need to have at least 10.13 to run it.

I’ll consider that. A number of older software I use will not run anymore.
But I’ll have take that step anyway some day.

Hello Niels
The installation went well but when I tried to launch the app did not start up due to an unidentified error.
I work with windows 10.
Do I have to uninstall the old version of PAP?

Hard for me to guess about the unidentified error. But I can tell you that you don’t have to uninstall the old PAP. Animation Paper and PAP is technically two completely different programs, so you can run both if you wish. 🙂

Hi, I have a similar issue. I tried installing animation paper and the installation worked fine but when I entered the activation key in the activation key box, it closed and nothing happened. So a few times I restarted the laptop and uninstalled and reinstalled the program and when I went through the installation process again it worked well. However, when I entered the activation key in the box again, it said that it could not connect to the server and the internet was working during those times. I use Windows 8.1.
Thank you for your time and all that you all are doing to develop this amazing program.I had been looking back at this website for years and hope that all goes well for you all.

Thanks Jalenr11, some people have had the same problem, but then when they tried again later it worked. Could you try again – no need to reinstall, just paste the code in again and see if it decides to work this time?

You’re welcome. I tried opening the program again and entered the code in the box but when I did, the box closed and nothing happened again and when I tried to open the program, it would not open. I tried restarting my laptop again too and would face the same problem.

That sounds very weird. So it closes the small window where you paste the code?

Yes it does whenever I entered the activation code in. When the small window closed, I then restarted my laptop and when I do, I open the program again and it tells me to enter the code in the activation box again, and when I do the small window where I pasted the code closes and then I try opening the program again but it does not open.

It sounds like there is something happening when the main Animation Paper window is about to open. What are the specs of your computer?

Windows 8.1 you say. What about memory and graphics card?

The Installed memory(RAM) is 4.00 GB
The processor is Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU P6200 @2.13GHz
System Type is 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
and the windows edition is Windows 8.1

The laptop itself is a Toshiba and is outdated but works well.
