I use sketchbook pro a lot. It might be just me but the most unique and useful feature of it is that it has a tool that combines moving canvas, zoom and rotation. That can be accessed by holding the spacebar.

Since your goal with this software is to be able to animate fast, maybe reaching 2 fewer keys to access tools would be beneficial, when implemented on animation paper.

I follow you completely. Actually this was how it worked in our first instances of the software. But people convinced me to split it up as it is now. Boo! Bad people! 😀

But I see no reason why both shouldn’t just work, as it is a central feature and you use it all the time. Putting it on hold-spacebar is great I agree. Added to our todo! Thank you! Next release. Done. 🙂

I would also love to see this feature. It was the first thing I noticed when I tried it. Hold the spacebar would be great.

By the way, I love your software, it’s awesome.

I agree, this feature was one of my favorite things about the original program and it made it feel “made for keyboard” which I really appreciated. Hopefully it can return as an option. Thank you!

I like the way Clip Studio Paint does pan/zoom/rotate view.

    pan – Spacebar + drag
zoom – Spacebar + Ctrl + click or drag
    rotate – Spacebar+Shift or Spacebar+Alt + drag

When you release the modifier keys, you automatically go back to the tool you were using. It really helps not take you out of the flow of drawing with your current tool.

PaintTool SAI also does the same thing.
I think Photoshop does this too except the rotate part.

Please also integrate that into the off-the-pegs feature! (which is awesome btw!!)
I miss zooming in that function.

Spacebar as modifier to overall view would be great.
But the offthepegs then maybe should keep it the way it is? (+zoom!)
It’s 2 different levels that way.

Yeah, zoom in off pegs would be useful, I agree. Noted.
