    Hello!
I’m thrilled to see this alpha and love the UI and workflow.
I wish there was an option to use the old opacity buildup model from the old PAP, since it creates less noise in the drawings from frame to frame. I made a demonstration video to show what I’m talking about: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17xwakw8R4OBchxmVAndGfokfWNde6SCv/view?usp=sharing
    Thank you!

Thanks for making that comparison video! It makes it very clear.

Its a pros and cons kind of thing. The way the line works in the new version has its advantages.

I’ll look into this more closely when I get a bit of time and see what we can do. Maybe an option as you suggest.

Thanks Niels. I appreciate your consideration. In drawing programs, it’s definitely more common/popular to do the buildup in an additive way, but for tonal organization, having a “cap” or ceiling alpha set by the brush settings works well. It creates a kind of bracket that ensures that tones will never spill over a certain alpha percentage, and then they can be isolated or stripped off easily by a process further down the line in After Effects or similar.
