When importing an image for use as a reference it was loaded as a full size image with no obvious means to scale the image down, it would be handy if it was possible to treat the image in the same way as any other layer.

Could an option be created to change the appearance of the cursor – currently it tends to be so small and blends too much with the workspace causing me too loose it within AP or even accidentally go on to my second screen.

This final request is to include the ability to draw straight lines using a shortcut key whilst drawing/painting (like the Shift key in PS).

    Sure!

The reference layer will be adjustable (move/scale) in one of the next alpha updates.

In alpha 1 the default cursor when drawing or erasing is quite transparent and therefore had to see. Others have mentioned this too. We already fixed that, so in alpha 2 the cursor is more visible.

And already (alpha 1) you do have an option for changing the cursor to a dot (smaller but more visible). Did you try that?

Straight lines using a short cut like in PS is also on our todo for an alpha update. 🙂
