When using the speed dial, hovering over a tool with the pen, an annotation for the tool is displayed which is very helpful!

But it is displayed at the bottom right of the tool symbol and as I am right handed always hidden behind my hand.

Perhaps it could be displayed at the top left (or at the top right for left handed users).

Hi Bert,

I haven’t put that much thought into that I must admit – the tool tips are a standard system thing. The position is the same for the other tools in the tool bar and controls bar as well. And actually the same in other programs and for the rest of the system I believe.

It does make sense to have them NOT below, but above the tool though. I agree. I wonder if it is possible to change a setting in the OS preferences or if we can change it for Animation Paper. I’ll have to look into this… 😉
