Hi! Is there (or will there be) a way to start a new layer in the x-sheet anywhere after frame 1 (for example, beginning a new layer and its drawings on frame 112 or anywhere but frame 1)?
Currently it seems we can only start with a blank frame on frame 1 and drag it down to the frame where we want to begin a new drawing- which works but maybe seems not so efficient. Thanks for any info!

You are right – they way to do it is to just have a blank with a number of clones, until the action starts further down. We have opted to do it like this to keep things simple and consistant.

I do hear you though. You have a point and it’s definitely a thing to consider. We need to think it through regarding how things would work when merging layers, jumping between layers, lighttable issues, playback, etc, etc. It’s always not as simple as it seems – at least if you want to keep everything clear and simple on the surface. 🙂

Anyway, thanks a lot for mentioning it. It’s noted!
