Lasso Drawing Duplication Glitch(?)
Quote from Asha the Shifting Dragon on May 28, 2026, 3:37 amHey, Devs! I finally figured out how to make a new topic. So, this question's the same as my first question. But just in case I delete that last post somehow, I'll ask this question again. So, I noticed that when I used the lasso tool on one drawing I just made, and after I compressed it, the same drawing would duplicate when I would try to move or change the size of the first drawing I made. Is this intentional, or is this a bug/glitch? If it's a bug, how do I solve this in the meantime?

Quote from EinSoft on May 28, 2026, 3:44 amHi Asha,
Saw your question on my last post and maybe I can help out. So just wanting to move/transform the selection without having a "duplication", were you expecting for the lasso tool to behave like a cut tool? There are two different lasso tools: L for Lasso (Copy) and X for Cut. I believe you wanted to use cut instead if I'm not mistaken?

Thanks for answering EinSoft - maybe that is what Asha is asking.
Or maybe you are talking about "clones"? If a drawing is "cloned", the original drawing (and all clones of this) will update if you change anything in them (draw or erase lines, move the whole drawing or parts of it, etc) - meaning they will always all look the same. To break the link, you can make a clone become a new Original simply by hitting O on your keyboard (Menu: Edit > Turn Clone into Original).
Please let us know if any of our answers are helping you 🙂
