That doesn’t work for me. If I assign “left click” to the side button on my stylus and try using that, nothing happens still.

Hi Marc, pressing on it with the stylus IS left-clicking.

    Hi Niels!

I just wanted to report that I also have this problem. I’m on Windows 11, with a Wacom One screen tablet. I have tried turning Windows Ink off and on, and tried playing around with the proportions options (not that that does much on a screen tablet), but nothing fixes the problem. The menu items (File, Edit, Draw, etc) highlight when I hover over them with my stylus, but nothing happens when I press them. Everything else works fine. I can press toolbar buttons, draw, and minimize, maximize and close the program with the standard Windows buttons at the top right.

That’s a good point about the first drawing. In the case that works like I’d like, I would assume the timeline would jump backwards a frame with each deletion, unless the frame being deleted is the first frame, in which case the timeline would stay on that frame.

Just to add a little more reasoning why it feels more natural to me……when I add a drawing, it’s like adding a real piece of paper on top of a previous one. When I throw away this new piece of paper, I see the previous one.

Hi Niels, thanks for looking into this and for the update! For me the F11 button does nothing at all. The maximize button at the top of the window makes the program fill the screen, like any other program, but it doesn’t do anything to the visibility of toolbars and menus etc. The only thing that has any effect on the visibility of anything is pressing Tab to open and close the X-sheet.

I personally would love to be able to press a button and have literally everything disappear, leaving me with only the drawing surface. This is to maximize the amount of space I have for drawing as my Cintiq screen is a smaller one. I use shortcuts for changing tools and flipping drawings etc, and so I don’t need toolbar buttons for them, or a timeline. And if there’s anything I do need a button for, I can access it on the speed dial.

My ideal would be to be able to clear the screen completely, and just press Tab to open and close the X-sheet.

    Thanks Again!

Hey! Was this ever figured out? I’d love to be able to hide literally everything except the paper in Windows. I’m not even sure if full screen mode works. If I press Ctrl+F nothing happens.

    Many thanks!

Aha! I hadn’t played with layers, so didn’t realise this. Thanks Niels!
