If you are running Windows, have you tried installing WinTab drivers for your machine, or enabling Windows Ink if you are on Windows 10. Take a look at the questions on the forum around the Surface Pro – seems it could be a similar issue/fix

Or just (in Windows), Select all, Rename the first in sequence and it will rename all of the rest for you – you can even start them from a number, eg rename the first ‘Walk (23)’ and it will start from 23 to your final frame. This worked well for me to link to separate AP exports together and then render to one file – So it removes the ‘hold’ name, keeps the sequence and lets you join scenes up – Easier than it sounds honest 🙂

I am drawing straight onto the Surface, so yes, could be your Cintiq drivers. Have you tried just drawing on the Surface (assuming you have a suitable stylus)?

Thanks Randall – Seems pretty similar to Krita in the hoops you have to jump thru but nice to be able to see the video strip (that I haven’t worked out in Krita)

I ended up using Krita (open source paint program) to combine the frames. Worked really well

I installed the SP3 WinTab drivers, which did work for me, but also enabling ‘let me use my pen as mouse’ under the Pen settings also seemed to help

Ah. I do have an older Mac, but am on a PC for the most part
Might try QT on the older machine, has forgotten it can do that, thanks
