Pen pressure levels

PreviousPage 2 of 2

Hi @rulomileg and @mo

We have done some adjustments and made an option inside AP Settings: Use Windows Ink. Can I get you to test this? Please try having it on and off combined with your system setting for Ink on/off. Does this work? Is it better or worse in any way? Thanks a lot for your help!

Niels

Hi Niels!

Without the option "use windows ink" under the wacom tablet propreties:

It works, if I do not check the option "use windows ink" within Animation Paper. However if check this option it stops working.

With the option "use windows ink" under the wacom tablet propreties:

It works in both cases, as expected.

Cheers!

Hello,

I'm trying it right now and have noticed that I need to disable the windows ink box so I can draw, regardless of having my Huion pen with that box on or off.

I don't know if I can explain what I'm trying to say. Ha ha.

What I'm saying is that it doesn't work when I turn on the box within the AP

Thanks Niels

Thanks a lot for testing this both of you!

It seems to me, that for most users (who, like you, have already chosen their preferred setting before installing AP) - AP will work if we leave the Ink option off as default. So if I'm not mistaken, 'off' is the best setting for most users (mainly Wacom and Huion users). Some users (maybe Microsoft Surface users?) can turn Use Windows Ink on, if AP hasn't have pressure to begin with.

Thanks,
Niels
