Hi Niels !.. I’m back… may be the following elements will help you :  The problem is not that the software does not recognize that the pencil is hovering the menu because the FACT is that the label Menu changes to a blue background, for example ” Window ” , ” Pick-Up ” etc … So what I am thinking about is to add the instruction to roll down the choice offered in this particular Item : for  ” Window ” there is  ” Reference Display “, ” Show Toolbar “, ” Place Toolbar at opposite side “,  and so on … Because the thing is :  when the software actually detects the pen tip howering for example Window I can slide to get Pick-Up, Xsheet, Light Table : no problem the Menu are rolling down all the options for their respective ” Own Menu “.  THE PROBLEM comes from the obligation to CLICK LEFT on the Mouse to Roll down the Options of the ” Menu ” :  When the software detects the click on the title of the Menu, the software shoud immediatly open the Options relative to this Menu : for example ” Pick-Up ” will show Lasso, Cutter.  I hope this will help !.. Have a good day !..  ( with the mouse I MUST ” Click Left ” to open every Menu choice, hovering over Pick-up or something else is not sufficient, I must ” Click Left ” to choose an option ).  May be there is an instruction as ” On Mouse or Pen-Tip Hovering, show Options from ” Menu “… I hope this helps !.. Bye !..

Hi Niels !.. it’s been a while !.. I’ve got the same problem : The Menu seems to not recognize that my pencil want to access with a simple clic :  I press the pencil tip on it … but nothing happens !…  The only way to reach the Menu details is with my mouse… I ‘m using a wacom cintiq pro 24 with the latest driver from wacom, Nvidia, running Windows 10 Pro on a Asus laptop ( intel i7 ).  I hope you’ll soon find the solution !.. Have a good day !..

Hi Alexander and Niels !.. my Wacom Cintiq is my display number 1 and is at the bottom, my other display (number 2) is at the top from the beginning, so I did not experience that offset cursor problem. Have a good day !

Hi !.. To Alexander and Niels : just in case : I don’t have this issue on my Cintiq 24 HDT : I’m working with a PC running Win 10 Pro 64 bits (last release, all updates done …). The Wacom driver I’m using is this Version : 6.3.38-2

The pen I use : Pro Pen 1 (First version)

Animation Paper provides smooth lines, no jitter, they are nice : I can’t ask for more : precison is there, pressure sensitivity responds well : that’s all fine for me !.. (Thank you !.. very nice feeling !.. 😍)

Hi, may be it’s usefull for someone : I had the same warning message as Jansen Bailey mentionned before. I’m using a PC running Windows 10 Pro (latest release with all updates done) : when windows prompt the message warning ” beware !.. it may be a virus “, I have cliqued on the blue zone of the message ( Tell me more ) and then hit the button ” run anyway ” ( I can’t remember the exact message ) and Animation Paper is installing without any problem … I hope it can help everyone that wants to install Animation Paper on a windows machine !.. ( mine is running Win 10 Pro 64 bits )

Hi !.. speaking about the cursor when drawing, the shape and the size of the cursor change upon wich tool you’re using :
when you choose the ” Pencil “, I find that the cursor is too small, not pleasant at all… but when using Marker and Brush, it’s perfect for my taste !.. If we had the same cursor when drawing with the Pencil… there would be no problem any more … that are my thoughts … I hope it helps !.. 😊
