The “add before” is there – and called “insert drawing”.

Use slide mode to slide original drawings around. This is for adjusting local timing without ruining the overall timing of your shot. But you can not slide across/beyond another original.

If you want to move a drawing to a completely other place in the timeline, use cut/paste.

You can’t. Those are disabled, because they are still to be implemented by us. Paint tools will come in one of the next alpha updates. But this is one of the large features, so it will take a few months before we are ready with that.

Yes, you need to have at least 10.13 to run it.

I’m very sorry – but Animation Paper requires OSX 10.13 or later.

Is it a possibility you would consider updating your system? I know it is not possible on certain very old hardware – but if that is the case with you, maybe Animation Paper wouldn’t run so smooth anyway.

Sad to have to bring this message to you, I imagine you were probably looking forward to trying Animation Paper like so many others.

OK, cool. And I totally understand about the keybindings, of course.

There’s a natural explanation. 🙂 Sound is not done yet. You can’t import or play audio just yet. It will come in one of the following alpha updates.

Hi Mads! Nice to see you here!! 😉 I hope you’re not spying too much!? 😉 But a little is OK – haha 😀

Yeah, the speed dials does not really work from the menu. To get them away again you need to select them again in the menu. Or just use the S or Shift S shortcuts. 🙂

This forum is brand new so I need to learn it my self. But so far I do it by uploading the image anywhere and with HTML do like this:

I’m not sure, but as a user on this site, I believe you should somehow be able to upload your image to this server and get the url for it too. But I haven’t checked that out yet. If it is not possible, a dropbox link or somewhere else should be fine 🙂

When you import frames/images they are displayed at half opacity to be transparent (which makes them look milky in color on the white background). You can adjust opacity at the bottom of the layer in the x-sheet.

As for resizing: Right now Animation Paper just imports anything and makes it fit your current scene. Later we’ll implement a feature to make you able to adjust size and placement manually.

OK, weird. Should work, as far as I can see, with your specs. We’ll investigate.
