You just need to go to your Wacom settings. Set up your top or bottom button, to react to shortcut S. Or Shift S for the second SpeedDial. Or why not try D or E, then you can hold your buttons to adjust your drawing and erasing tools.

All very handy to have assigned to your pen buttons. 🙂

Alright. As an alternative to the numpad, you can use < and > to turn the canvas in steps.

… But using it as a “mouse”, sounds like pressure sensitivity will not be on then. Also it could only send screen coordinates, which is far less resolution than if it works like a tablet, resulting in ugly pixelated lines in Animation Paper. Does pressure and fine line resolution work for you? Just making sure. 🙂

Thanks both of you! Todd, did you try updating your tablet drivers? Often it is about the drivers, when there’s no pressure sensitivity.

Thank you very much for this analysis. I follow you completely. It could (and should) be more obvious what mode you are in.

Your suggestion with the cursor changing to display the mode is in a way actually already in. It’s just so subtle, so you might have missed it: When in Add Clones mode the cursor is light brown like the clones. When in Slide Mode the cursor is white like the originals. 🙂

Try going to Windows settings and see if Windows Ink is on or not. Maybe it makes a difference if you switch it around?
